Adventure Season - Opening Weekend

Hello football fans!!! Long time, no blog. Hope y'all had an excellent year. I sure did. I had meant to continue blogging upon my return to normalcy... but it was all so... abnormal. The events of the last year could not be made public in the spirit of protecting the innocent... namely me.

I will say that last summer's adventure changed me in ways I had hoped and in ways I could have never predicted. The changes are still palpable and have set in motion even bigger and better opportunities. More on that later.

I have once again finished work for the year and have begun my summer adventures!!!! As is tradition, adventure season begins with an epic camping trip with good friends. Despite the absence of some key camping companions (you know who you are), we had a great time and welcomed some new companions into the fold.

This year we set out to Salt Point State Park, located about a half and hour north of Bodaga Bay. Great place. Highly recommend it. Better than decent hiking both down to the ocean and up into the woods. Lots of wildlife. Seals, ospry, blue jays, crabs (both regular and hermit), mussels, jellyfish, and damn raccoons. Lots of PBR, lots of JD. Ginger snaps. semi-colon. dominoes. Frisbee. climbing trees. The perfect start to what is going to be an even more epic summer!!!!

Yes, my friends, I will be adventuring again this summer. But this time I'm taking my good weather and good fortune international. I will also be joined by two very worthy side-kicks. Join me won't you?
